Nate Flaks is a sound designer/editor, composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Dobbs Ferry, New York. While performing as The First Law he released two albums (Talking of Michelangelo & She Traveled With Me) and toured across the country. He studied at Berklee College of Music as a double major in Electronic Production & Design and Film Scoring. As a sound editor he has worked on feature films that have premiered in Sundance Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival. Nate currently performs as half of the electronic duo, Sleeping Lion.
